When are utility bills mailed out?
A: Utility bills are mailed on the 5th of each month.
When are utility bills due?
A: Utility bills are due on the 17th of each month.
What if the 17th falls on a weekend or holiday?
A: If the 17th falls on a weekend or holiday, the due date becomes the next business workday. (Example: If the 17th falls on a Saturday, the utility bill will need to be paid by the following Monday in order to not be charged a late fee)
How much is the fee if I pay late?
A: 10% of your bill will be added to your amount due
What if I haven't received my bill by the 10th of the month?
A: If your bill is not received by the 10th of the month, please call our office (903) 894-7223 ext. 101 and we can give you the total amount due for your account.
I haven't paid my bill and my water has been shut off, what do I do?
A: If your water has been disconnected due to nonpayment, you will need to contact the Utility Billing department at (903) 894-7223 ext. 101 during regular business hours and pay the $30.00 disconnect fee along with your overdue bill before services are restored. NOTE: There will be no after hours reconnections.
When are trash pickup days?
A: Garbage Services will run each week on Friday morning. Please have your trash out the night before or by 7:00 am on Friday morning.
Who do I contact if my trash wasn't picked up on the scheduled pickup day?
A: If you trash hasn't been picked up by 4:00 pm on Friday, email the utilities department at utilities@bullardtexas.net or call us on Monday during regular business hours and we will contact Republic Services to get it picked up.
Where can I recycle?
A: There is a recycle bin located behind City Hall for residents inside City limits to recycle cardboard, paper, plastic and aluminum.
