Bulky Item Pickup is a monthly service exclusively for residents signed up with city utilities. Please see the information below for this year's Bulky Item Pickup schedule, accepted items, proper set out times and placement requirements.

CITY OF BULLARD

BULKY ITEM PICKUP INFORMATION

Bulk Pickup is at your home curbside; All items MUST be set out on the curbside the night before. (Please note: They will not pick up anything in your blue poly cart).

Blue Poly Cart (trash bin) will be picked up on regular trash day (Friday)

On the 2nd Thursday of each month, ALL residents living to the WEST side of 2493 (EXCEPT Windsor Estates residents) who are City of Bullard utility customers will have Bulky Item Pick Up services.

On the 4th Thursday of each month, ALL residents living to the EAST side of 2493 (PLUS Windsor Estates residents) who are City of Bullard utility customers will have Bulky Item Pick Up services.

Don't forget that you can take advantage of three free cubic yards of landfill disposal each month by simply showing your water bill and drivers license.

Accepted Items

Brush & Bundled Branches
Must be less than 35 pounds & must be bundled together. 
Bulky Trash Items
  • Furniture 
  • Washer/dryer
  • Dish washer
  • Mattresses/box springs
  • Small household items that are bagged or put into containers and other household objects too large for routine placement in polycarts

If you have bulky items that are in good condition and still functional, please consider donating them to the Salvation Army, Goodwill, Habitat for Humanity or any other local donation center.


Items Not Accepted

  • Appliances with Freon (refrigerators, air conditioners, freezers, etc.)
  • Batteries
  • Electronics
  • Automobile Parts & Tires
  • Hazardous Waste, Paint, Pesticides, Chemicals, Etc. 
  • Computer towers and old school monitors (Flatscreens are OKAY)


Placement of Brush and Bulky Items

  • Brush and bulky trash may be set out as early as ONE day before the scheduled Bulky Item Pickup.
  • Brush and bulky trash must be placed just behind the curb line in front of your home.  
  • Do not place bulky item piles in front of parked cars, near fences, trees, mailboxes, beneath overhead wires, low-hanging tree limbs, or on top of water meters.

If items are not picked up either the item wasn't an acceptable item or was too large to be removed, please call Republic Services at 903-586-1449.

Bulky Item Disposal Alternative: Residents do not have to wait to receive their bulky item collection to get rid of bulky items; residents have one free monthly trip to the landfill with proof of residency including water bill and drivers license.
