City Secretary

The City Secretary's office records, manages and makes accessible sufficient information to ensure transparency in government and the documented accountability of City of Bullard policies, functions, and transactions. 

The City Secretary's office also provides information to the public and helps the public locate government information maintained by and for the City in accordance with requirements.

Duties

• Acting as custodian of all official records of the city.
• Processing alcoholic beverage licenses and gaming permits
• City Elections
• Recruitment, applications and appointments to the City Boards and Commissions
• Posting and compiling meeting agendas
• Ensuring the City Code of Ordinances are up to date
• Validating and certifying petitions
• Processing zone change requests and plats
• Processing annexation requests
